ClackaCraft is a family owned business that is committed to producing a quality, comfortable and long lasting product. I love to be involved in all aspects of the operation; from laying up the boats, doing R & D, to even sweeping the floors. Hard work and dedication is what we have built our reputation upon, and that is why I am so excited to announce that John Lent has rejoined the ClackaCraft family as our National Sales Manager.

John is dedicated to customer service; he truly believes that besides producing the finest drift boat, customer service is our most vital asset. John has been a "Trout Bum" his entire life, fishing through out North America even spending his honeymoon fly fishing for steelhead. His enthusiasm and experience will benefit not only ClackaCraft, but our customers as well.

ClackaCraft, the world's largest manufacturer of drift boats, has been building quality fiberglass drift boats for over 30 years. Fiberglass is a time-tested technology with changes and improvements that have been made in the material from time to time. New synthetic materials have been developed over the past 30 years, especially in the aerospace industry. We look at and evaluate every new material that comes along. When we see something that looks promising we have built prototype boats and tested them by floating rivers and banging rocks. So far we have not found any new high tech material that improves the strength or durability of drift boats. If there were something better out there, ClackaCraft would be using it.
