Fiberglass vs. Aluminum

From time to time we are asked,
"How does Fiberglass hold up compared to Aluminum?"

Well... this is the sort of thing would not happen to a fiberglass ClackaCraft.
Upon severe impact fiberglass drift boats flex, springing back into position, while aluminum stretches, unable to return to its original shape.
Aluminum chines gouge on rocks producing sharp "line slicing" razorblades that are great for CATCH AND RELEASE!
Aluminum does puncture. This is a puncture repair.
Bottom leak repair.
Gluvit peeling off.
"Oh, My!"

We're not saying that aluminum is not a good material.
There are aluminum drift boats out there. All we're saying
is that ClackaCraft Fiberglass drift boats offer you so much more.
