Warrantees
Warrantees are an important component for a manufacturer. In
many ways, a company stakes its reputation on its warrantee.
If you don't or can't live up to your warrantee,
your reputation is worth nothing. At ClackaCraft, we feel we
have the best drift boat warrantee available. We also believe
that we have the best reputation as a drift boat manufacturer.
We have been building drift boats since the mid-1970's
and we established our warrantee long ago. To be honest, we couldn't
provide such a great warrantee if we didn't build such
good boats. Our boats don't fail, and therefore, they are
not returned for repairs. Our warrantee reads, "a lifetime
warrantee against punctures and leaks..."
I've been looking at some other boat manufacturer warrantees
recently. You should look at them too and read them carefully.
Some of them appear to make promises without stating what the
warrantee really covers or how long it is good for. Nowhere have
I seen anyone meet our lifetime warrantee. This, I think, is
true, because nobody else builds a boat that they can give this
kind of warrantee.
Some other boat manufacturers are claiming to be the leaders
in drift boat technology, but are building the same old flat
bottom drift boats. The real advances in drift boat technology
have come from ClackaCraft: first the Tunnel Hull, then the Tunnel
Hull with tracking channels. These features are incorporated
in all of our 15', 16' and 17' boats. If you
want to really feel a major difference in boat handling and maneuverability,
give one of these boats a try. These boats are at the forefront
of drift boat technology.
One of the biggest statements to support ClackaCraft's
reputation is our Pro-Guide Staff. No other boat maker has such
a large and prestigious Professional Guide Staff. Guides can
row any boat they choose: and look who chose ClackaCraft - only
the best guides from the East Coast to the West! That's
quite a statement.
