The ClackaCraft 12 foot Drifter has been designed to offer many of the features normally found on our larger drift boats and in a size that is easily carried in the bed of most pickups.

Like it's big brothers, the ClackaCraft 12 foot Drifter is built of hand laid fiberglass and weighs 195 pounds. The light weight makes the ClackaCraftl Drifter extremely maneuverable and easy to row.

Even with the reduced size of the ClackaCraft 12 foot Drifter, the fly fisherman is able to stand with out fear of tipping and is able to look down into the water to see the fish. The boat is perfect for shallow streams that are too small for a full size Drift Boat.

Many times a person wants to fish by themselves in a primitive area without a boat launch who just wants to row out to the middle of a stream to fish and back without doing a full drift. It is easy for one or two people to drag this lightweight, rugged, and slippery boat across the grass, down the muddy embankment and across the rocks to the water, and back again after a quiet, pleasant afternoon of fishing.

While we don't recommend running the Rogue or Colorado River with the ClackaCraft 12 foot Drifter, we think that you will find it is an ideal boat for use on most of the rivers that you normally fish. The ClackaCraft Coastal Drifter comes complete, ready to fish with oars, oarlocks, the anchor system, rope and anchor. Options include rod holders and trailer.
