Marc grew up on 30 acres in Mississippi with a bass pond in the back yard. He left the south right out of high school to pursue guiding in Colorado, where he spent several years at high-end trout lodges. After becoming a licensed outfitter and guide in Colorado, he guided in Eastern Oregon before settling in Jackson Hole. He guided for 2 years at the Crescent H Lodge, one of the first Orvis endorsed lodges in the United States. Soon after, he started Wandering Angler, with this year being his 19th year guiding locals waters.
